Posted by a verified traveler on Aug 9, 2021 This experience was abysmal and I will not be back. We were being held hostage by our check which the server took an additional 35 minutes to get to us. I understand being understaffed but no one even moved a muscle to help or provide an explanation as to why we weren't being taken care of. Many of the staff took notice but no one made any moves to help. The next day, headed over to the pool bar where we ate and sat with our finished plates in front of us for over an hour when I finally cleared our plates and took them to the bar (we were a party of 10). We finally received a bland apology and a voucher for a beach cabana the next day. When pressed, management and staff didn't seem to care that wallets, phones and personal valuables had gone missing. When that party said they were uncomfortable handling our personal belongings, the staff moved our belongings to an undisclosed location. The staff there told another set of visitors to move our stuff (cell phones, handbags, etc.) so they could use our chairs. In short, our party had beach chairs, with all of our stuff on them. I have stayed at the Loew's before and this time was super disappointing.
